Haley: U.S. has enough 'proof' to act, Trump reviewing options on Syria

Source: Politico

Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, on Thursday said the U.S. has enough proof to act in response to an alleged chemical attack in Syria, and President Donald Trump is looking at all his options.

“We definitely have enough proof, but now we just have to be thoughtful in our action," Haley said in an interview with MSNBC. "The national security team is trying to give him as many options as we can, and we’ll be thoughtful about it and see what happens.”

The Syrian government allegedly used chemical weapons on civilians in a suburb of Damascus last weekend. Trump has since said that he plans to launch a missile strike against Syria, but he has not given a timeline for the intended strike.

“I think the president communicates the way he communicates. But I think at the end of the day there are options, and he will ultimately make the decision on what happens there, and he has the right to do that,“ Haley said.

Our intelligence agencies? The ones who said that Russia interfered with our elections? Funny how they can be trusted now.

Just as long as we're thoughtful about the whole thing...
You know...about whether to use cruise missiles or
troops...

steps over the line and starts a new war, there's no way to walk it back. The US will then be facing far more threats to our national security and Trump doesn't know how to do anything more than bully, brag and bluster.
