Trump lawyer Michael Cohen's mystery client is Fox News host Sean Hannity

Source: CNBC

A U.S. District Court judge ruled on Monday that an unnamed client of Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's longtime personal attorney, is Fox News host Sean Hannity.

In an earlier court filing Monday morning, lawyers for Cohen refused to identify the recent client one of three people Cohen represented between 2017 and 2018. The lawyers also refused to identify the names of other past clients.

Michael Cohen represented Fox News host Sean Hannity, Cohen's lawyers were forced to reveal in federal court on Monday. Cohen was present at a hearing where his attorneys are challenging the FBIs seizure of documents he claims are protected by attorney-client privilege. Cohens other two clients in recent years, he said, are President Donald Trump and Elliot Broidy, a Republican fundraiser. Cohen negotiated non-disclosure agreements with Trump and Broidy's alleged mistresses.

From New York Magazine, Operation Trump, by Gabriel Sherman April 3, 2016

Throughout 2014, the three (Roger Stone, Michael Cohen, and Sam Nunberg) fed Trump strategy memos and political intelligence. “I listened to thousands of hours of talk radio, and he was getting reports from me,” Nunberg recalled. What those reports said was that the GOP base was frothing over a handful of issues including immigration, Obamacare, and Common Core.

they studied talk radio to form their strategy for the primaries, at least.

James Stewart is another example. He is one of my favorite actors. He was a distinguished WWII bomber pilot. He was a Republican. He was also, by all accounts, a kind, generous, and gentle man.

The Republican party has morphed over many decades into something much more twisted, evil, and dark. The GOP is not the "party of Lincoln", or even Eisenhower, anymore.

Trump lawyer Michael Cohen did legal work for Fox News commentator Sean Hannity

President Trump’s longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen, told a federal judge Monday that he had three legal clients in the past year — the president, GOP fundraiser Elliott Broidy and a third client whose identity he asked to keep secret.

Lawyers for Cohen filed the letter Monday morning as they prepare for a 2 p.m. hearing to discuss legal issues surrounding an FBI search last week of Cohen’s office, home and hotel room.

Cohen, who is under criminal investigation for possible bank fraud and campaign finance violations, has argued that material seized in the raids could contain privileged information and needs to be reviewed before federal prosecutors have a chance to scrutinize it.

Cohen has asked for a court-appointed outside lawyer to serve as special master and review the material first, or for his own lawyers to review the documents so they can tell prosecutors which documents are covered by attorney-client privilege.

A teenage Donald Trump stared at the woman, not blinking. Finally he spoke.

"Get rid of it"

"But Donald I want the baby"

"No way. My dad's gonna give me a million dollars. I'm gonna be a yuge builder. No time for kids."

"I'm keeping it, Donald. I'm naming him Sean"

Sean Hannity, 17, threw his bike to the ground and ran into the house.

"Maaaaaa!" He yelled. "I can't ride my bike like the other boys. They say my hands are too small! Why am I like this? You and Dad have normal hands!"

Hannity's mom knew. She would tell him today.

No wonder Hannity is so manically defending and raving on Trump. There's probably some underhanded Russian business connection they share and Cohen is the one common denominator that was maneuvering his investment alongside Donnie.

Apr 2018

1) What woman or man did Cohen pay off for Sean?

b) Am I wrong to think that Hannity and Fox get many of their talking points
straight from Russia?

91. We'd never have found out if Cohen hadn't filed his stupid motion to claw back his docs from DOJ.

His assertion in that motion that he has clients other than Trump who don't want their documents revealed to the DOJ.

In response, the judge demanded his list his clients. Voila. Mission Accomplished.

Can't blame/give credit to Stormy for this self-inflicted wound.

I thought for sure that it would be a Russian they were protecting, but this is actually better.

Hannity should be fired from FOX today, but he won't be.

It's worth noting that an earlier propagandist, Joseph Goebbels couldn't keep his pants on either.

Cohen's "fixer" role with sex workers and unexpected mothers was a necessary sideline.

Remember that Mueller's and the DOJ's interest in Cohen is really about business deals with Russians going back years. Mueller turned over the Cohen issue to the SDNY to ensure that the investigation would survive his departure.

Cohen facilitated the meetings with Sater, Stone, Page, Flynn, Prince, and others. Being in the middle between Trump and the Oligarch/Mafia made Cohen a valuable resource that was supposed to work under the radar. Hannity's involvement with Cohen is likely tied to the Russia story, rather than the sex worker distraction. He was likely the tie to Pravda/FOX.
