House GOPers Call On Sessions To Prosecute Clinton, DOJ Officials

Eleven House Republicans sent a letter Wednesday to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, urging him to prosecute Hillary Clinton and more than a half-dozen current or former Justice Department officials, including former FBI Director James Comey and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.
The letter complains that the investigations into Clinton and President Trumps campaign have been marked by dissimilar degrees of zealousness.
Because we believe that those in positions of high authority should be treated the same as every other American, we want to be sure that the potential violations of law outlined below are vetted appropriately, the House Republicans said.
The letter which also went to FBI Director Christopher Wray and U.S. Attorney John Huber, whom Sessions named to oversee the investigation into GOP-fueled anti-DOJ allegations comes after the FBI raided Michael Cohen, President Trumps personal lawyer, last week.

(10,252 posts)This is just pure stupidity and hatefulness. Those people are obsessed with hatred. They wake up in the morning and immediately think "I hate ______________." Then they spend the rest of the day nurturing their hatred and projecting it onto others. Hatred for Hillary. Hatred for Obama. Hatred for liberals. Hatred for Muslems. For Blacks. For Hispanics. For the poor. For uppity women. On and on and on and on. When they aren't nurturing hatred, they fantasize vengeful punishments.
And that DUers, is how Facsists operate. They are not happy people.

(10,252 posts)I know how very difficult it is to not project hatred back at people, who are motivated by hatred themselves. But when we hate, we join their team. As a Buddhist, I endeavor to feel compassion for all sentient beings. Yes even the hateful Trumps of this world. Compassion does not mean giving a free pass to degenerate people like Trump. I assure you that they are not happy people. I see them as people trapped in suffering of their own making by all their negative emotions of hatred, greed, envy, anger, false pride, and blatant stupidity. And they create so much suffering for others. Completely wasted lives, c hasing after money, power, and fame.
But we are better people than that. We can choose to generate feelings of generosity and kindness. If you can't see you way to generate compassion right now, you can at least hold the aspiration to generate compassion at a future time. Anger and hatred are poison and make people to be stupid.

Seems to me Gowdy and the boys screamed BENGAZI for the last 4 years and EMAILS over and over.
Didn't they spend millions in the effort and came up empty handed.
Damn, I am getting tired of their toro ballistics.

(33,643 posts)Email address the whole time she was Sec State (actually it wasn't weird because SO MANY in government did, and still do, not ... including many, many pubs, including GWB) until it was time to officially archive her email records at the end of her tenure and archivists asked for them. They told her she didn't need to include 'personal' ones so those are the dastardly 'missing' 33K (which from my understanding have actually been recovered at this point) that her IT folks innocently removed from the server before presumably ghosting the server box and forwarding to the archivists.
THAT's when the GOP, after all that time (no DOUBT many many of them sent emails to her non-.gov email over those 4 years), decided to persecute her and accuse her of having confidential info on a private server that was presumably more hackable than a .gov, and saying she purposefully hid those from the archivists to not get in trouble, categorizing them as 'personal'.
So the 'investigation' didn't start I don't think until she was already totally done or at least after she announced retirement.

(14,173 posts)Like a young republican kid gets caught red handed stealing cookies and screams and whines that his sibling should get the same punishment because believe him, he knows, that his brother or sister has been stealing cookies too!
I don't see how a majority of Republican voters can stomach the immaturity, the childishness of the new Republican party, from Trump on down. "I know you are but what am I?" That is what is really unsettling. That they live in a world of the schoolyard, where they follow the biggest bully around and laugh when he makes fun of other weaker classmates. And help bully any classmate that speaks up against him. And then laughs at the poor butterfly libtard that can't take a 'joke'.
Its this infantalization of America that is particularly nauseous.
