EPA again bars reporters from water pollution event

Source: The Hill

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is barring reporters from attending the second day of an event on drinking water pollution from certain manufacturing chemicals.

Journalists from the Associated Press, Politico and other outlets said EPA staff at its Washington, D.C., headquarters didn’t let them come in for the National Leadership Summit on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).

The decision to ban reporters follows a high-profile incident Tuesday in which the AP reporter, Ellen Knickmeyer, was allegedly shoved by an EPA guard when she tried to enter.

Knickmeyer and journalists for E&E and CNN were not invited to a short opening part of the summit that some other reporters, including from The Hill, were allowed to attend, so they went to the EPA building to try to get into it.

"Mariah Blake, a journalist with Crown Publishing, reported that EPA staff and security guards were “very cordial” in turning away reporters Wednesday." Who said Fascist's can't be friendly?

2. The article in The Hill

wasn't specific as to whether the press was "legally" entitled to be at the meeting or not, but my question is, if the EPA violated FACA, what's the MSM going to do about it?

The article refers to the morning session Tuesday, but, if some outlets (like The Hill) were allowed in but others weren't, that probably wants to raise a serious flag.

Gawd, I am so SICK of this f*ing "administration."

YOU GOT THE WRONG F*CKING ROOM !

There are plenty of rooms that can hold participants and all the media.
