I can't tell you how many times I have had to bite my tongue. My husband was in his bedroom listening to the report of Kobach in a jeep with a machine gun. He was laughing out loud. What is wrong with these guys? I don't know.

Seriously, I know Brownback personally (not on purpose) and although I knew he was a liar and a creep I never saw the cruelty that he dealt parts of our population. I was not actually surprised but stunned at the level he took it to.

We're going right back to the Brownback zero % tax rate for Corporations (and more sales tax increases) that we had before that nearly BK Kansas. KKKobach said they were a great idea but not implemented correctly because there wasn't enough spending cuts to make it work.

Makes no diff to him that school funding was CUT to the bone and by year three KDOT couldn't even take bids on highway work because they'd been robbed and slashed of almost all their money. Programs to help the truly needy were slashed to the point of being worthless so Corporations/S Corps/LLC's (such as lawyers,basketball coaches who make or get paid MILLIONS per year) pay nothing in State income taxes.

But yeah...Kobach has a "better" plan. Better hope that ass gets primaried in August or we're in trouble.

I suspect KS is still recovering from the Brownback disaster, if at all. That's fine, if KS wants to enact another failed 'Brownback' policy, businesses will leave the state, businesses won't hire kids in KS because of poor school standards, and, since people are (or will be) leaving KS as a place to live, and immigrants are a 'dirty word' now, won't be able to hire anyone anyway since everyone has left KS.

So much for governing, eh?

Those ridiculous tax cuts for the RICH were tossed out about a year ago so revenue is flowing into the coffers again. If business leave this State it won't be any that came rushing here for that tax break,there were really none even though Brokeback claimed they would be beating the door down to set up shop in Kansas.

All that happened was Lawyers (who just had a partnership) and millionaire basketball coaches quickly formed an LLC for fifty bucks and got out of paying income tax for almost four years.
