Yemen and Iran are extremely different versions of Shia, which US politicians have made sure you didn't understand, and the main claims that Iran was there have been based on their religion, and nothing else, until recently.

On the other side, the dictators you support, have been committing vast war crimes in Yemen for almost a decade.
