India moves ahead with tariffs on US goods

Source: CNN

The country has proposed hiking tariffs on 30 US products in order to recoup trade penalties worth $241 million, according to a revised World Trade Organization filing.

India said the retaliatory barriers are equal in value to US tariffs on steel and aluminum from India that were imposed by the Trump administration in March.

The new tariffs target products including American almonds, walnuts and apples, as well as some chemical and metal products.

India said its tariff on large American motorcycles, which President Donald Trump has repeatedly spoken out against, will also be hiked.

Any country that wants to curry favor with China or the EU can join their team on the escalating trade war, and you know how Trump makes friends everywhere he goes...

have both entered into new trade agreements with other nations, including China, to replace the losses Trump is trying to impose on them. The losses will be ours.

As they should be. Everyone whose misdirected vote -- or lack of it -- created this situation deserves to suffer for it. Unfortunately, it won't be limited to them.

And countries are designing it so that it does. His supporters will learn his lies are different from their reality, and he can't even be trusted. He doesn't care either if it hurts them , and his policies will badly. He's already taking health care away from millions, and even the lucky ones left with the ACA they say the premiums will increase at least 90% within 2-3 years. They don't care if it hurts you, they got your vote already so until this fall they can screw them claiming its others doing it all they want. Then rig the upcoming election.

Way to fuck things up when they were doing just fine. Only an asshole so greedy as to bankrupt a fucking CASINO could be so incompetent.

they had to have been key parts of a money laundering scheme. That is the only rational explanation, and, knowing how this asshole has operated throughout his life, absolutely the most likely one.

Follow the money.

except plenty of others will have to pay the price. It's going to be a long while before a future Dem president can repair these mistakes and build trust again.
