DR Congo currently is undergoing its ninth Ebolo outbreak. Reading about the almost other worldly isolation, due to this kind of violence, of even those communities right on this giant nation's lifeline, the Congo River, is very frightening. And it's very humbling to learn about local people who put their lives on the line for as long as they survive to try to somehow sustain long enough to break through this dreadful era.
