President Donald Trumps campaign manager for the 2020 presidential election tweeted Tuesday that its time to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions and end special counsel Robert Muellers probe into the Trump campaign and Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Citing the Justice Departments inspector general report on the FBIs handling of the Hillary Clinton investigation as the truth to end it all, Brad Parscale said you cant obstruct something that was phony against you.

Parscale, who worked as a digital media director on the 2016 campaign thats under investigation, appears to be seizing on a Trump talking point that the DOJ IG report released last week totally exonerates the President of any wrongdoing associated with Muellers probe.
The IG report, in part, concluded that while former FBI director James Comey broke from precedent in his handling of the Clinton investigation, he was not politically motivated in doing so. The report was critical of Comey, which Trump allies have used to fortify Trump and his decision to fire Comey last year.

Do not underestimate the evil of Parscale.
He is the one who Jared worked with on the social media campaign side by side with Cambridge Analytica. He was based in San Antonio, but has since moved at least part of his digital operation to Florida. Recently, it became known that he has hooked up with the remnant company of Cambridge employees, Data Propria.
'The AP learned of Data Proprias role in Trumps re-election effort as a result of conversations held with political contacts and prospective clients in recent weeks by Oczkowski and Trumps 2020 campaign manager, Brad Parscale. In one such conversation, which took place in a public place and was overheard by two AP reporters, Oczkowski said he and Parscale were doing the presidents work for 2020.
In addition, a person familiar with Data Proprias Washington efforts, who spoke on condition of anonymity to protect business relationships, confirmed to the AP that Trump-related 2020 work already had begun at the firm along the lines of Cambridge Analyticas 2016 work."

Parscale denies any knowledge of Russian involvement,

but based on the last two days, that onion is getting peeled back with others.
Keep your eye on this guy.

(59,504 posts)The dissemination of fake stories and smears to micro groups of people, who could be driven by them, while no one in the more mainstream part of the population sees them was done using CA. If they took content from the Russians, this makes the whole thing illegal - rather than just the next refinement in microtargeting used in past elections.

(3,922 posts)Parscale is almost certainly a familiar name to the Mueller investigation and he knows this - hence the plea to end it.
At the least, Parscale is hoping to extend his tenure as campaign manager.
The reality Parscale faces is jail time.
