Stormy Daniels heading to border to try to help migrant children
Source: The Hill
Stormy Daniels, the adult-film star who is suing President Trump and his former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, says she is heading to the border to offer assistance to migrants.
"I am headed down in a week," Daniels tweeted on Thursday to a user asking her to help children impacted by President Trump's "zero tolerance" immigration policies. "Don't worry. Just figuring out my best course of action to maximize my resources."

I respect her desire to help, but Avenatti had better have a solid plan for her time, or this will look like a Melania publicity stunt.

While this has all the hallmarks of a PR stunt -- it depends on how it goes down -- if she can use her fame to continue to draw attention to the horrible situation in the children concentration camps, more power to her.
We all know how quickly the public's interest can wane from important issues -- look at Puerto Rico. There is still a significant portion of the island without water or power, many houses are covered by blue tarps instead of roofs, and they have yet to get an accurate count of the death toll. It's not that people don't care, the lack of news coverage has allowed the issue to fade away into the more recent crises.
