UPDATE: Bolton, Putin to meet in the Kremlin to plan Trump-Putin summit

MOSCOW -- National security adviser John Bolton is set to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin on Wednesday, the president's spokesman said.

Bolton is in Moscow ahead of an expected summit meeting between Putin and Trump in mid-July. Bolton is also meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov, and members of Russia's Security Council, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. "The president will receive Bolton in the Kremlin," Peskov told reporters. "Such a meeting will happen today."

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said last week that Trump and Putin will likely meet "in the not too distant future" following Bolton's visit to Moscow. The Trump-Putin summit would be the first meeting of the two presidents not taking place on the sidelines of a broader international gathering. Russian officials have sought such a meeting for months and have blamed U.S. domestic politics for the difficulty of making it happen.

The meeting is expected to take place while Trump is in Europe in mid-July. He is scheduled to attend the summit meeting of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization July 11 and 12 and to visit Britain on July 13. Peskov declined to comment on news reports that a Trump-Putin meeting could take place in Vienna or Helsinki.

Bolton will meet with the Russian president during his visit to Moscow on Wednesday, Putin's spokesman said.

Bolton is expected to discuss plans for a meeting between President Trump and Putin. The summit is expected to take place during Trump's scheduled visit to Europe in mid-July. Bolton is scheduled to hold a news conference early Wednesday afternoon Washington time.

Bolton is one of the filthiest rabid Republican Fascist to have ever plagued the country. He is a liar and a war monger that has the blood of over 5,000 of our soldiers on his hands. The entire Bush administration was not held accountable for their taking us to war on absolute lies. They couldn't get the intelligence agencies to verify their claim that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction so they formed their own pseudo intelligence agency that didn't have a shred of credibility to lie to the citizens. The situation makes me want to vomit.

The real question is Russia hasn't made any moves to deserve sanctions relief or a reset to improve our relations so why is Trump so ready to give this to Putin?

They are interfering in not only our elections but those of our allies.

They are violating our short range nuclear weapons treaty

They took over Crimea and are pushing around the Ukraine and threatening Nato Allies

They are propping up Syria and Iran and helping other countries violate US sanctions like North Korea

They are arming and supporting the Taliban in Afghanistan, undermining our efforts there

They are trying to normalize their corruption and money laundering right here in the US along with spreading the influence of their criminal enterprise all over the world

They are hacking our infrastructure, our power grid, and have spies mapping our our telecommunications grid as well, they've been caught doing this

They were caught spreading fake news, propaganda and trying to affect the out come of our elections and have been indicted in our court systems but refuse to cooperate with our requests to bring those found to justice or even recognize the power of our courts and rule of law.

They were caught hacking into our voting systems, our political parties, stealing emails.

They were caught shooting down a commercial airliner over the Ukraine

They are spreading their brand of white nationalism, through pushing fake news stories about refugees, rising crime and using fear bigtotry and intolerance to sell this both in Europe and in the Americas in efforts to undermine more liberal democracy
