Joe Jackson, the music manager and father of 11, has died, TMZ reports. He was 89.
The Jackson family patriarch had been battling terminal pancreatic cancer and was not doing well as of late, a source previously told PEOPLE.
On June 21, son Jermaine told the Daily Mail, Hes very, very frail, he doesnt have long. The family needs to be by his bedside thats our only intention in his final days.
Just days later, Jackson appeared to share an emotional tweet hinting at his worsening health struggles. (20,878 posts)This man was his abuser.
Beat him with a belt as a young child.
He had no childhood as he was busy working all of the time.
Odd as MJ himself died on June 25, 2009, almost 9 years to the day.

Lots of sickness in the house at that time. And then the word was the MJ had died of a heart attack at the age of 50.
It was not but a few days later that we lost Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, our great senator from Massachusetts.
It still bothers me. A lot.

(18,837 posts)When Michael died, she filed a wrongful death suit in her name and her kids' names.
Joe filed a separate suit in his name only.
Judge threw out Joe's suit because you can't have two suits for the same thing.
