Former Fox News executive Bill Shine considered for White House communications role

Source: Politico

Bill Shine, the former Fox News executive who was ousted from the network over his handling of sexual harassment claims, is close to being tapped as President Donald Trump’s next communications director, according to multiple people familiar with the process.

Shine, a protégé of the late Roger Ailes, has in the past flirted with the idea of joining the administration in a senior post, but taken himself out of consideration.

In recent months, however, a person familiar with his plans told POLITICO, Shine has been at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida spending quality time with the president and their mutual close friend, Fox News host Sean Hannity.

Shine, a person familiar with the process said, was scheduled to have a meeting with Trump this week.

He's so wrapped up in the Fox News bubble, he makes no attempt to preach to any one other than the already converted choir. As does Fox. And for all its bragging about being first in cable news. there are still many more cable news networks and still many more Dems and independents that get their news from more reliable sources. The Fox style of propaganda only tells the faithful what they want to hear. Whether it can ideologically persuade those outside the fold will tell what the spirit of this democracy really is.

with FOX "personalities". You can't honestly call them journalists. Trump listens to the FOX assholes almost exclusively anyway. Why not install the entire 'bunch of white people on a couch' (FOX and Fiends) as the Trump Minister of Propaganda? Between the three of them they should be able to come up with some bat-shit crazy bullshit everyday.
