Trump DOJ suing to 'denaturalize' Miami grandmother for past offenses

The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against a grandmother living in Florida to “denaturalize” her, the Miami Herald reported Monday.

It's part of a new push by the Trump administration to revoke the citizenship of people who committed offenses before becoming American citizens.

Norma Borgono, 63, immigrated from Peru in 1989. She is reportedly being targeted by the federal government because of her connection to a $24 million fraud scheme more than a decade ago.
Borgono worked at Texon Inc., an export company, the Herald reported, where her boss doctored loan applications filed with the U.S. Export-Import Bank.

Borgono helped with the paperwork as his secretary, according to the report. But she did not make any money off the scheme and in fact cooperated with federal investigators and helped the FBI put her boss in prison.

I do not support her losing her citizenship and having it revoked though rather I am just pointing out that its not a case of her simply being interviewed by the FBI and then providing them testimony for nothing.

This is deliberate and malicious. They're looking for any weak excuse they can come up with.

a way to terrorize citizens not only immigrants. If they want to try her with that evidence, provided statue of limitations has not passed, then it shouldn’t be about citizenship. My guess is they are trying courts to set precedent for easy denaturalization. She can’t be possibly responsible for any of it, she was not arrested nor convicted so there is nothing to report in citizenship paperwork. She demonstrated good moral character by cooperating with authorities.

They know they need brown people out or they will never win another election.

They can kick out the ones who aren't citizens, but that is not enough. They need to start kicking out non-citizen non-whites.

Let's be clear here: if they start deporting citizens, the next step is to start deporting American-born citizens.

This is ethnic cleansing.
