Todd Palin Endorses Newt Gingrich
ABC News:But Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and John McCains 2008 Republican running mate, has yet to decide who is best able to go up against Barack Obama, Todd Palin said.
Palin said he has not spoken to Gingrich or anyone from the former House speakers campaign. But he said he respects Gingrich for what he went through in the 1990s and compared that scrutiny in public life to what Sarah Palin went through during her run for the vice presidency.
Todd Palin said he believes that being in the political trenches and experiencing the highs and lows help prepare a candidate for the future and the job of president.
C'mon Sarah; if you wait too long, nobody will care who you endorse...

Never heard of Todd, is he some famous General, Actor, or Governor? If he supports Newt's family values, he probably likes Levis' also too!

So both Sarah and Newt had to resign from office because of some sort
of scandal* and that makes them good in Todd's eyes.
* I might be wrong but I think Sarah had to quit office in Alaska because of
the way the house in Wasilla got built and the materials got billed to the
indoor hockey rink that was built @ the same time.

(37,726 posts)And you can tell that by the looks of Todd's mansion. Even if he does have his own Air Force in his front yard.

(17,505 posts)Yes! He RESPECTS Newty for being forced to resign under ethics charges and having to pay the hugest fine ever.
Of course Obama has never had to deal with any kind of negative press or public vetting. Ol' Hussein just slid into home on a bed a roses. What would Obama know about those political war trenches?
Hahaha that's really a funny subject line

(70,614 posts)An investigative reporter for the Village Voice found that slipped into the material
costs for a steel frame building (the hockey rink) materials for a post and beam
house which just happened to be what the Palin's house is made of but some of
the other paperwork for both the hockey rink and the Palin home has "gone missing."
I might be wrong but I think Gov. Palin was given a choice of either having to quit as
Governor or face a full investigation into how her house was built.

(862 posts)It's not as though we've all been waiting with bated breath to see who nabs the make-or-break Todd Palin endorsement. Is he even a Republican? I thought he was a member of an Alaskan neo-secessionist party. What exactly is his claim to significance or influence over people's opinions? His wife being governor of Alaska for half a term? That she was last cycle's also-ran?
Just in the interest of fairness, I think we should wait fort Geraldine Ferarro's college roommate to weigh in.

Oh and did you know he ran a prostitution ring?
Really, he did, probably still does.
Wasilla is rife with drugs, and somebody who is untouchable is the God Father to that drug trade.
Lots of people in Wasilla are terrified of the Palins, and can lose their jobs if they make either Sarah or the Dud angry.
How do the Palins have so much power, when they don't actually have a visible power base?
