Love to see their snowflake minds being blown!

Well, you shouldn't have filled up all the border jails with minors, children and babies, dumbasses!

I guess 'rule of law' and 'constitutional protections' still prevail for some adults.

conditions. One dead child, buried on property. Kids being trained to be mass murderers. Weapons all over the place. People get held pending trial all the time, for far less than these guys did.
Now, they’re out and about, having paid $0 bond, with only the promise to show up for trial. They know at this point, they’re looking at spending the rest few decades in prison. They have nothing to lose.
All because the idiotic prosecution can’t articulate why these guys might be dangerous to the community.

State prosecutors outlined evidence suggesting that at least some of the suspects could have been planning some sort of attack. They said Siraj Wahhaj – who also faces child abduction charges from Georgia after allegedly taking his 3-year-old son – took several weapons classes before coming to New Mexico, and books found on the compound focused on how to build firearms at home.

Various weapons and ammo were found during the raid on August 3, and several more firearms were discovered in subsequent searches. The children were allegedly taught how to load and fire assault rifles.
...
In addition, prosecutors described a letter sent to Siraj Wahhaj from his brother allegedly inviting him to come to New Mexico and die as a martyr.
...
According to Taylor, the children were led to believe that the child, Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, "would become Jesus" when his demons were exorcised. He added that once the child "became Jesus," he would instruct the others of the property or the family what corrupt institutions to get rid of."

to keep "the accused" in jail until trial.

No inordinate flight risk, no danger to the community - this is how our legal system works, with the presumption of innocence as a fundamental human right.

I wouldn't argue for anything else.

"No danger to the community" from people who collected arms and encouraged each other to die as martyrs, taking out bits of teh government?

After four hours of testimony on Monday, a judge sided with the defense. She ruled that the suspects were not shown to be a threat and allowed them unsecured bond.

"What I've heard here today is troubling, definitely. Troubling facts about numerous children in far from ideal circumstances and individuals who are living in a very unconventional way -- although if you have lived in northern New Mexico for any period of time you are aware that many people here live in unconventional ways," Judge Sarah Backus said.

"If these were white people of a Christian faith who owned guns, that's not a big deal because there's a Second Amendment right to own firearms in this country. If these were white Christians, faith healing is of no consequence because we have freedom of religion in this country. But they look different and they worship differently from the rest of us," Thomas Clark said Monday.

"When black Muslims do it there seems to be something nefarious, something evil," he later said outside the courthouse.

that they wanted to follow with an attack on the USA.

That judge is a grade A idiot. She needs to retire.

If they were Christians, we 'd be saying "these fundamentalists are the real danger in this country".This wasn't "faith healing"; it was faith killing. Clark is a lying weasel. Yes, killing a child is "evil".

apparently she doesn't have the "reliable sources" that DUers have.

Why have a trial when all you have to do is read the paper, listen to the pundits, and believe the prosecution? - just a waste of time.
