The word "hero" in America has been so cheapened since 9/11 it is pathetic. Every ordinary Joe and June is now elevated to a be-caped, tights wearing ueber-being. This example, however, is particularly egregious. Even in it's now almost meaningless definition the term "Hero" in no way applies to the immorality of these employees following the orders and wishes of trump, his malodorous nazi advisors and those treasonous republicans. Sickening, just sickening.

Part of the propaganda campaign. Every soldier and policeman is a "hero", every rich person is a "job creator". It results in a reality-TV third-rate actor being elected to political office.

I'm sick of the overuse of that term. There is nothing heroic about separating babies and children from their families and locking them in cages.
