Man wanted for threatening to shoot Trump spotted in Maryland

Authorities are looking for a Pennsylvania man who is believed to have threatened to shoot President Trump. CNN reported that the U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Shawn Richard Christy, who was least seen Sunday night driving a stolen car in Cumberland, Md.

The FBI said in a warrant on its website that Christy allegedly made threats against Trump and Northampton County (Pa.) District Attorney John Morganelli on Facebook between June 3 and 12. In the posts, Christy, 27, claimed he is going to shoot Trump in the head and use "lethal force" on any law enforcement officer who tries to detain him, according to the FBI.

An arrest warrant was issued for Christy on June 19 after he was charged with interstate communication of threats and threats against the president of the United States.

In addition to threatening the president, Christy is wanted in Pennsylvania for burglary, probation violation and failure to appear for an aggravated assault case, according to CNN.

The first two look so different. I guess the lighting and camera angles are the reason for it. Did he say why he wanted to kill him? I know of dozens of people who have told me they wish someone would do this. He would probably go down as a martyr...he did it for the good of the country.

I still worry about him.

When I first read this news, I realized I never worried about Trump before because he's never worried about people like me the way Obama seemed to. Or Jimmy Carter does.

Having been through JFK, MLK, RFK, John Lennon, etc, I cannot embrace assassination. Those were all such devastating events for me.

But I have to admit, maybe with some shame, I wondered for a moment if the guy would be doing the country a favor.
I'm in such a different place with this president. I really do not like him or respect him and wish he wasn't president.

other than a forced resignation, and then a life spent happily ripping off chumps if he wishes to continue to do so, BUT, we know that there were constant reports that President Obama was THE MOST THREATENED President in history, yet I don't recall any urgent all-points-bulletins going out all over the place about a suspect.
