Blame that fact on state election law, which gives Collins only three ways to leave the ballot. He can run for another office, he can move to another state, or he can die.

That will just make him a candidate with a felony conviction (and presumably, ineligible to vote for himself).
He'll probably file to run for dogcatcher, if the filing deadline hasn't passed. An office to which I wouldn't vote for him!
