KARACHI, Pakistan (Reuters) - Pakistan has called for the United States to amend what its foreign ministry described as a factually incorrect account of a phone call between U.S. Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo and new Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The U.S. State Department said it stands by its account.
The row comes ahead of a planned visit by Pompeo to Islamabad in the first week of September to meet with Khan, who was sworn in as prime minister last week.
The U.S. State Department readout of the call said Pompeo wished Khan success and also asked Khan to take decisive action against all terrorists operating in Pakistan.

(23,099 posts)From what I understand, neither Pakistan nor drumpfs cabal have shown an ability to tell the truth, so while I don't trust Pakistan on this, it's safe to assume that Pompeo truly didn't mention terrorism, it's par for the course with these chickenshit lying swamp creatures.

(4,642 posts)the US has lost all credibility so any country can make this claim and get away with it, Personally, I believe Pakistan.
With this administration, I usually believe what the other side says because as we all know, if Cadet Bone Spurs assmouth or tiny orange fingers are moving, he's lying and that goes for his minions as well.
...it's tough when you have people like trump's henchmen and Pakistan's leaders calling each other liars. Or Kim and trump. And we're sitting here trying to figure out which sleazy bastard to believe. smfh A pox on all their houses, bunch of lying dictators and would-be dictators. It would be funnier if it wasn't my country circling the drain.
