Booker releases new round of 'confidential' Kavanaugh documents

Source: The Hill

BY JORDAIN CARNEY - 09/12/18 07:53 PM EDT

Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) on Wednesday released a new set of "confidential" documents from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's White House tenure despite threats of an Ethics Committee investigation.

Booker released 50 new pages of emails, some of which have "committee confidential" stamped across the body of the email. Other pages have "committee confidential" written at the bottom of the email page.

The designation means the documents, which were given to the Judiciary Committee, have not been cleared for public release.

It is the seventh batch of "committee confidential" documents Booker has released since late last week, saying he is breaking committee rules in the name of transparency.

to try to ruin the career of a intelligence agent and reveal intel sources, possibly getting them killed, then I doubt Booker's actions could damage the US over this nominee whose lies disqualify him from SCOTUS.

sofa pillows. These are not classified documents related to national security. Releasing those was a crime, with intent to commit that crime.

Instead, a member of the senate committee is releasing information about a SCOTUS nominee, with intent to inform the public, in violation of senate committee rules because the rules are being misused with intent to harm the public. Notably also, this isn't a crime.

rather than fuel their base right now this looks more to fuel ours up especially if they push it through before the election to try and shoehorn him in because you can be sure our guys will launch a massive investigation against him as they should for his perjury.

Kavanaugh had morals, dignity, sense of right and wrong... he would voluntarily withdraw his nomination... what kind of person is willing to take a position when nominated by a man under criminal investigation and taking part in a process that is disingenuous and rushed???

...especially for the Supreme Court of the United States

that Kavanaugh lied to the Senate in 2006 and there is proof so not only should he be turned down for not answering questions clearly and no SCOTUS pick should be made while the fake prez is being investigated, but he shouldn't even be considered. When I tell the nice staffers this I do not get nasty replies. They obviously are hearing this from others who are calling. I call the 4 GOP and 4 Dem senators who are "iffy". I also call their local and DC offices. Here is contact info...go to the link and scroll down to the replies. Some Duers are doing work for us...let's all use the info and fight this battle! IT IS WORTH IT!

They know he has a huge amount of things they're hiding from becoming exposed about kavanaugh, and if they vote him in then its exposed they are really looking a lot worse for allowing him to get that position knowing he's corrupt, and a liar. If they allow him to get in, they'll lose the Senate, and many members will be targeted for removal from office. HE'll be removed even after he does get into his position if they don't after he's exposed, and he will be. That was the reason he was picked, he's corrupt and will be easily manipulated by putin for protection .
