Evelyn Rodriguez, MS-13 victim's mom, killed by car at memorial site

A New York mother recognized by President Donald Trump at the State of the Union after MS-13 gang members allegedly killed her daughter was struck and killed Friday by a car at the girl's memorial.

Evelyn Rodriguez was hit around 4 p.m. in Brentwood, N.Y. and died at a hospital, police said. U.S. Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., says it happened about an hour before a planned memorial for her daughter, Kayla Cuevas.

Police said homicide detectives are investigating. They did not immediately provide details on the driver of the car and would not say if Rodriguez was intentionally struck.

However, News 12 Long Island reported that their cameras were rolling when Rodriguez and a man confronted the driver of a SUV Friday. The car eventually accelerated and struck Rodriguez.

If the driver were brown, or had an accent, or was a gang member, the orange alert would have tweeted it.

Probably a maga or fringe group member. I'm thinking westboro baptist church crazy type who got cornered and gunned it.

It looks like a rage strike.

And since no details are leaking, you know who it isn't.
