Palestinian stabs U.S.-Israeli citizen to death at West Bank mall

Source: Reuters

A Palestinian fatally stabbed an American-born Jewish settler in the occupied West Bank on Sunday then was himself shot and seized by armed civilians who gave chase.

The victim, Ari Fuld, 45, was well-known amongst settlers as a pro-Israel advocate. According to his Twitter account, he had planned a lecture tour in the United States in November.

Israeli police said the Palestinian who stabbed him in the back at a shopping mall in the Etzion bloc of Jewish settlements south of Jerusalem was shot and wounded by one of several armed civilians - including a bleeding Fuld - who gave chase.

Thankfully Israeli security forces keep these terrorist attacks to a minimum.

ignoring what has been going on on both sides, than you bias is obvious. There is no doubt that Israel is the victim of terrorists attacks by Palestinians, but there is also no doubt that nothing happens in a vacuum

Are you ignoring the demolishing of homes on the West Bank to make room for Israeli settlers, or the attacking of Palestinians on the West Bank by Israeli settlers?

Are you alright with
Netanyahu involving himself in the U.S. election, not only with Romney, but also with Trump?

The reasons I brought up Rabin specifically, because that highlights the radical elements on both sides

and if you believe that it is only elements on the far left among Palestinians want to destroy Israel, and not the far right elements in Israel that not only do not want a two state solution, but want to kick the Palestinians out, then you are being naive.

The only chance for peace between Israel and the Palestinians is a two state solution, and negotiations, and there is no indication that will happen anytime soon, so it will be endless killing.

Of course Israel needs to protect itself because there are elements who want to destroy it, but elements are not going to go away, and only get worse if the issues are ignored

Stabbing someone to death usually indicates a personal connection/rage. Why did this 17 year old kid hate Israeli Jews?

same way about Palestinians.

and I am not setting up a false equivalency. As long as there are conditions as they are in the West Bank, as long as the Israellis bulldoze down West Bank towns to make them available for Israeli settlers, as long as there is no negotiations, and no plan for a two state solution, the killing will be endless.

I believe it was Moshe Dayan who said you don't negotiate with your friends. The same holds true today.

What is the status of the West Bank?
What is the legality of Israeli settlers building settlements on the West Bank?
What is the status of a two state solution?

which I have no doubt some would love to throw at each other, there are instances where Sharon did negotiate with the Palestinians.

Of course as will be pointed out Sharon also sabotaged the negotiations just when Bill Clinton was trying to bring the parties together

I will admit it is close between the examples you give and trump and Netanyahu
