Donald Trump Jr.: #MeToo Makes Me Fear More for My Sons Than My Daughters

Source: The Daily Beast

The president’s son’s takeaway from three women’s harrowing sexual-assault accusations against Brett Kavanaugh: His boys are now the ones at risk.

Olivia Messer

Donald Trump Jr. is afraid for his sons.

The past week—in which Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser were questioned in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee over allegations that he committed sexual assault in the 1980s—has made the president’s oldest male heir fear more for his sons than his daughters, the father of five said in an interview with DailyMail TV.

“I’ve got boys, and I’ve got girls,” Trump Jr. said during a trip to Bozeman, Montana, to campaign for U.S. Senate candidate Matt Rosendale last week. “When I see what’s going on right now, it’s scary.” When asked which of his children he’s most concerned for, he replied: “Right now, I’d say my sons.”

Trump Jr. told reporters that Christine Blasey Ford’s story, of being held down and groped by Kavanaugh at a high-school party while his friend Mark Judge egged him on, is tainted by political motivations to keep his father’s nominee off the high court.

They won't be putting themselves continually at scenes where they might be "wrongfully" accused.

https://qz.com/980766/the-truth-about-false-rape-accusations/

Innocent men rarely face rape charges
Let’s start with the idea that false rape accusations ruin lives, and are therefore a universal risk to men. Generally, feminists dismiss this idea by arguing that false accusations are rare—only between 2% and 10% of all reports are estimated to be false. What’s equally important to know, however, is that false rape accusations almost never have serious consequences.

It’s exceedingly rare for a false rape allegation to end in prison time.
This may be hard to believe, especially considering that rape is a felony, punishable with years of prison. However—to start with this worst-case scenario—it’s exceedingly rare for a false rape allegation to end in prison time. According to the National Registry of Exonerations, since records began in 1989, in the US there are only 52 cases where men convicted of sexual assault were exonerated because it turned out they were falsely accused. By way of comparison, in the same period, there are 790 cases in which people were exonerated for murder.

Furthermore, in the most detailed study ever conducted of sexual assault reports to police, undertaken for the British Home Office in the early 2000s, out of 216 complaints that were classified as false, only 126 had even gotten to the stage where the accuser lodged a formal complaint. Only 39 complainants named a suspect. Only six cases led to an arrest, and only two led to charges being brought before they were ultimately deemed false. (Here, as elsewhere, it has to be assumed that some unknown percentage of the cases classified as false actually involved real rapes; what they don’t involve is countless innocent men’s lives being ruined.)

So the evidence suggests that even in the rare case where a man is the subject of a false rape complaint, chances are that the charges will be dropped without him ever learning about the allegations. This raises an obvious question: Why would false accusers go through the trouble of making a report to police, only to instantly withdraw it?

Mon Oct 1, 2018, 12:00 PM

My sons know that violating a woman is unacceptable behavior under ANY and ALL circumstances. My daughters know that they are vulnerable to attacks and how to defend themselves (mace and hard knee to the groin) and how to call for help if necessary (loudly and repeatedly saying "NO" or calling "HELP ME" as last resorts to an unwanted attacker).

I worry 1,000 times more for my daughters, as does any sane father or parent. We can teach our children NOT to do reprehensible things as a matter or being decent human beings. We can tell our boys that "no" does NOT mean "yes"...EVER (despite the protestations of certain Yale clubs known to include scum like Kavanaugh as representative members); but the hard truth is we cannot make other people NOT attack our daughters, nieces, wives, mothers, sisters or grandmothers. We cannot stop the moral rot that allows a political party in 2018 to decide that the message to send is NOT "we believe the women" but rather "we must pass this nominee because FUCK THESE UPPITY WOMEN".

I worry more for my girls and my nieces than I ever will for my boys or my nephews, and any loving and rational, non-foolish political hack father should easily reach that same conclusion every day of the week and twice on Sundays. I always knew Trump Jr. was scum, but he is only too happy to keep proving it.

It will be funny watching his worthless ass try to capitalize on his old man's name to build a political career. He is an utter failure.

Typically they say something like "Any girl at any time can say anything about your son and RUIN HIS LIFE."

As if that is a real risk.

The real risk is that your DAUGHTERS will be sexually assaulted (at least 1 in 3 women are), and no one will believe them, because of statements like Don Jr.'s.
