Lindsey Graham demands Sen. Amy Klobuchar apologize to Brett Kavanaugh during Fox News appearance
Source: Rawstory
Graham said that he felt sorry for Dr. Christine Beasley Ford.

I think [Dr. Ford has] been used and abused. My beef is with the Democratic Party who laid in wait, betrayed her trust, and didnt tell her we would go to California. My beef is with the fact that theyve done everything they can do to destroy her life, Graham said.
During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Kavanaugh rudely attacked Klobuchar after she questioned him about his drinking habits.
This is the one that bothers me the most. He apologized to Amy Klobuchar for snapping at her, Graham said. What would you do if you were accused of all these things? Heres what I think, Amy Klobuchar should apologize to Judge Kavanaugh and his family for being part of a smear campaign I havent seen in over 20 years in politics.

(51,698 posts)She had every right, indeed a duty, to ask that question, since it directly related to the allegations about which the hearing was being condected. And she asked the question in the most professional way possible.
If it was me, I would have ripped his head off after he became petulant. I would have asked what he would do if a person responded to him in court the way he just did to me.

(29,223 posts)Since McCain died... he is lost without a "leader" so Trump is it.
He wants Sessions job.
You can guess what that would mean for the DOJ and the FBI... Hillary would be arrested within a month or so.

(6,133 posts)where does that leave him. He came down too hard on Trump, and Trump does not forgive. He likes what Lindsey is doing. But I dont think Trump will ever forgive him. I think Trump gets more satisfaction in destroying people. That is a good feeling for him.
And that leaves Lindsey as a joke, because he would be really bad at stand-up.

(14,998 posts)The First is that there is damning, dangerous, dirty kompromat on him in the possession of Putin and/or Trump.
The Second is that he is done, done, done with the fundraising/campaigning treadmill and is desperate for an off-ramp which enhances his position instead the ignominious, tail-between-the-legs, running-away position of Flake and Corker; so he is angling for a Trump administration position which in title at least will buff up his bona fides beyond Senator (AG, SecState, SecDef, etc) for purposes of later lobbying, punditry, consulting, or corporate boards.

Or is he so damned afraid or mad that he's been caught in possibly illegal dealings that he's just flipping out? He's got nothing to lose, so might as well go down swinging?
I hate him almost more than McConnell. Sniveling little whiner.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/08/28/politics/lindsey-graham-jeff-sessions-trump/index.html
Washington (CNN)Sen. Lindsey Graham said Tuesday that President Donald Trump's relationship with Jeff Sessions is "beyond repair" and suggested that the attorney general be replaced.
"The President has lost confidence in Jeff Sessions. I'm telling you what everybody in the country knows, this is a dysfunctional relationship, we need a better one," the South Carolina Republican said in an interview on NBC News' "Today" show.
"This relationship is beyond repair, I think," Graham said. "I'm not asking him to be fired, but the relationship is not working."
The President's latest criticism of Sessions last Wednesday came the same week his former campaign chair Paul Manafort and his former personal attorney Michael Cohen were convicted and pleaded guilty, respectively, to various crimes, including bank fraud and tax fraud.
