the only positive news is it won't stick around long and it hit the least populated part of FLA. I hope everyone in its path stays safe.

The whole area will be destroyed. The loss of life and damage from winds will be historic. Air bnb is offering houses for people to stay in for free.

I lived through a Cat 4 and it was the most terrifying night of my life. We had sustained winds of 145 and gusts over 175 in Andrew. It is hard to describe how scary it is when 175 mph wind hits your house and shakes it to the timbers.
