Trump Blames 'Great Anger in Our Country' on 'Fake News': 'The True Enemy of the People'

Source: Mediate

President Donald Trump is receiving harsh criticism from those who are connecting his inflamed rhetoric to a number of hate crimes that have occurred in the country over the past week. But Trump is pushing back on that criticism in a manner reminiscent of the elementary schoolyard debate projection of “I am not, you are!”

There appears to at least be an agreement between Trump and his critics that we are now living in an extremely divided and heated political time. But while nonconservative media outlets lay the blame for this at Trump’s feet, the Commander in Chief is putting it right back on them.

Trump tweeted:

These tweets are a direct pushback on various cable news outlets who have tied what they see as irresponsible and dangerous fear-mongering rhetoric to the events of the past few days.

Yeah, of course it’s not his responsibility anymore than Adolf Hitler had any responsibility for Kristallnacht.

The election results are fake news, and invalid. The Republican Congress will continue. I would not put anything past this idiot.

He lies daily, on important subjects, and about any person or organization he thinks opposes him. Most of the rest of 'fake news' comes from Trump lackeys and supporters. For instance, the "Soros-funded caravan" crap that led to the Pittstburgh synagogue massacre.

But we have to remember, when Trump speaks he projects. His definition of fake news is quite different than who is the real fake news. Trump's definition of fake news is any person or news outlet that says anything critical of him regardless of the truth. So, fake news, people who report the facts, report the truth, make Trump angry.
When Trump says we need to come together he means that we need to accept everything he says and does as the truth. Anyone who does not abide by Trump's philosophy is fake.

it is like touching a nerve for him. He can not tolerate being told the truth about his behavior and language and how it is gets amplified around the country and the world. Just because of who he is and the position he holds, every word out of his mouth carries extra weight. He was used to being able to say and do whatever he wanted without such dramatic impact on the world. I am SURE that has been explained to the dimwit many times. Words matter when you are President of the United States.

He cannot accept that his language and bombastic behavior has had a negative impact on our country. No, he did not create the bigotry, racism and climate of hate that exists. It was already here long before tRump gained power. But he recognized it was there for him to exploit and use for his OWN benefit. It was despicable but he did it anyway. That is because of his narcissism and deeply held beliefs that he should get his way at whatever cost it takes.

I have no illusions that he will EVER get it, that he will ever understand on a fundamental level how he has encouraged and nurtured the hate seething within our borders. But like the serial murderer or psychopath who kills without remorse, he must be stopped one way or another. This country can not tolerate much more of this kind of “leadership” without permanent harm to us as a nation. Whether through impeachment or indictment for his crimes (and that is another whole subject), he must be removed. He is a cancer that will destroy us if we allow him to continue unchecked in his quest for power and control.

To attempt a coup of OUR government now?Trump hates everything in our government , and is doing everything he can to weaken it, and allowing our infrastructure systems to be undermined by putin and his hackers to use against us when they attempt this? Trump is a lot more evil and treasonous them people realize. White Nationalists are also behind changes and has a history of being involved in creating violence while they attempt it.
