Trump bashes Paul Ryan: Focus on holding the majority

Source: The Hill

President Trump on Wednesday bashed Speaker Paul Ryan for rejecting his call to end birthright citizenship.

“Paul Ryan should be focusing on holding the Majority rather than giving his opinions on Birthright Citizenship, something he knows nothing about! Our new Republican Majority will work on this, Closing the Immigration Loopholes and Securing our Border!” Trump tweeted.

Then the tax cuts for the ruling class were passed and they become buddies. Just like all the rest of the snakes in that party.

flight from the Republican Party has left it almost entirely made up of dutiful authoritarian followers of Trump, he's correct. However, in this he's talking about a quarter of the electorate at best.

If anyone voices a contradicting opinion on anything, but particularly on something "important" (meaning it's a dog whistle to Trumpers), he slaps 'em down immediately. That keeps the kids in line.

If they go too far, they get kicked out of the ring, like Jeff Flake. You're either a loyalist "yes" man, or you're not. If you can't be convinced of being one, you're out.

Because he's running republicans away from them to vote for the Democrats, but will never accept responsibility for anything , and he'll try to bypass all of Congress then when they turn on him, which is coming. He hates Democracy , and is being manipulated by putin, He always has excuses , and always blames others, period. Lets hope they realize he'll try to screw them over too by bypassing them then attack , like he's trying to do now to the Constitution. He hates our country and this government , because he doesn't want to be held accountable for anything, and he's corrupt. He wants to make the wealthy and corporations great again for himself , and to then go after them for full control. He wants it all , and its always his way or else. The gop know he's costing them this election , so watch how long before they go after him too.

was a big mistake, and now he's blaming a guy in the FBI hierarchy for the Mueller investigation. Everything that rump does (remember 'I alone, can do it all') or touches goes to pot. This guy alone has set back national security back decades and the nation's standing among the world to its lowest ebb.

As stated by many DU members and others outside the DU realm, rump is a walking disaster.

Paul Ryan doesn't have to care at this point. Not going to be the Speaker nor a representative in two months. House is going to flip. Nothing Trump can say or do can scare him.
