Dow suffers longest losing streak in 3 months as Apple flirts with bear territory

U.S. stocks reversed direction to pivot lower Wednesday, with the Dow on track for its longest losing streak in three months, as blue-chip Apple Inc. flirts with bear-market territory.
How are the benchmarks faring?
The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -0.81% fell 169 points, or 0.7% to 25,117. If the losses hold, Wednesday would mark the fourth consecutive decline for blue chips, the longest streak since Aug. 13, according to FactSet data.
The S&P 500 index SPX, -0.76% ESZ8, -1.12% is down 17 points, or 0.6%, to 2,704 and the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, -0.90% declined 41 points, or 0.6%, to 7,159.

rethugs are hoping it happens on Democrats' watch like when W was president, he wanted it on the Obama administration but it happened too soon
to bad he doesn't get full credit for any of his terrible economic policies, Clinton handed him a surplus and he bombed it away (also tax cuts)
