Incoming New York attorney general plans wide-ranging investigations of Trump and family

Source: New York

New York Attorney Gen.-elect Letitia James says she plans to launch sweeping investigations into President Donald Trump, his family and "anyone" in his circle who may have violated the law once she settles into her new job next month.

"We will use every area of the law to investigate President Trump and his business transactions and that of his family as well," James, a Democrat, told NBC News in her first extensive interview since she was elected last month.

James outlined some of the probes she intends to pursue with regard to the president, his businesses and his family members. They include:

* Any potential illegalities involving Trump's real estate holdings in New York, highlighting a New York Times investigation published in October into the president's finances.

Like always.

Jail is for the poor.

Ask Mr Epstein how you can rape little girls and you and your rich friends get away.

Call them Banana Generals.

Our world is far from perfect & has always been. It’s more productive to get behind and support those working hard to make it better. You could always lend a hand to help them out. I’m guessing wherever you might live there is positive action, large or small you could take. You would feel better.

Money laundering is destroying democracies throughout the world. Exposing Trump would send a message to other thieves out there.

There is a loophole in the banking regulations ... no need to account for source of money dumped into real estate. Those laws need to be changed. Not only is dirty money avoiding prosecution but dumping money in real estate artificially raises prices. Certain areas of the country (mine included) are becoming unaffordable.

Who are these "Elites" who are more corrupt than the trumps, what are their crimes? Also, why will they be ignored?

Lets not forget that trump seems to be also involved with Epstein in what has been alleged as raping a 13-year-old...

Anyway, your post is a bit confusing.

The June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with a Russian official.

Examine government subsidies Trump received, which were also the subject of Times investigative work.

Whether he is in violation of the emoluments clause in the U.S. Constitution through his New York businesses.

Continue to probe the Trump Foundation.

"We want to investigate anyone in his orbit who has, in fact, violated the law," said James, who was endorsed by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

Princess Ivanka is as dirty as any of them. Her name was on the Trump tower in Baku that funneled money to Iran. It was never occupied and was built in a bad section of the city. Rachel Maddow showed a video of Ivanka promoting the Tower, the video was shot from a different Tower.

going back to the early 90s at least. And the AGs of New Jersey and the other states where Trump does business. We know why the Florida AG did nothing - Trump made a sizable contribution to her campaign IIRC.

Al Capone was never convicted of racketeering, murder, violation of Prohibition. Instead, he was convicted of tax evasion . . . and he died in prison.

Sounds like a model for the entire Trump family -- well, except maybe for Tiffany and Barron.
