BREAKING: Trump plans 16-day holiday visit to Mar-a-Lago

Source: The Palm Beach Post

President Donald Trump is expected to spend 16 days at Mar-a-Lago over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, according to an alert issued by the Federal Aviation Administration this morning.

The alert warns pilots to avoid the airspace over Mar-a-Lago during the more than two-week time frame, from Dec. 21 to Jan. 6, but does not indicate when Air Force One will arrive or depart Palm Beach International Airport.

The upcoming visit is longer than last year’s 12-day visit, putting Trump in Palm Beach a day earlier than his arrival last year and four days later than his Jan. 2 departure. It would be his longest retreat at Mar-a-Lago, dubbed the Southern White House, since the president’s inauguration in January 2017.

Trump’s extended stay means he will not be in Washington when the new Congress, including the Democratic majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, is sworn in on Jan. 3. That event will mark the end of the GOP’s eight-year grip on the House, although Republicans slightly increased their Senate majority in the 2018 midterm elections.

It also means the president’s new White House chief of staff may be named, or takeover, during the stretch of time Trump is at Mar-a-Lago.

I cannot even imagine what these trips cost. They publish the cost of AirForceOne for hourly operation, but that is a drop in the bucket to the Security costs, Secret Service Costs, Local community expenses, etc etc etc.

The Congressional Budget Office or someone needs to give the public a real accounting of his "sneak-away" trips.

on golden, glorious, gourmet luxuries for a freaking "billionaire." I work my ass off, and I pay my taxes. I really dislike this republican WASTEFULNESS of my money. Anybody else feel that way?

It's typical sick republican "economics" to rip off the middle class taxpayers to pamper the rich.

Deplorable.

Based on NBC’s report that Trump was present in the room while discussions of hush money being paid took place, Trump clearly participated in, or was an accessory to, the commission of a felony violation of the campaign finance laws. At some point, the Republicans are bound to turn on Trump so they can field a better candidate in 2020 (I’m betting on Nikki Haley being the Republican nominee).

I wouldn’t be surprised if the tide turns decisively before the new year, and Trump tries to declare victory and resign before the Dems take control of the house and can launch myriad investigations that will uncover really bad stuff and send Trump away for the rest of his life, barring a pardon from his successor.

Sounds like plenty of time to arrange for a quick getaway on his private plane. Probably to Saudi Arabia, since Putin is pretty much over turdface, and has a new murderous BFF.

Besides, Putin gave Butina permission to help sink turdface. He doesn't want him coming to Russia.
