My Koran classes have been over 10 years ago, but I think it's so important that it's one of things you're judged on after you die. So when they pick up trash, open free medical clinics, and the like, I think of them being good neighbors.

Injecting a bit of anti-religious zealotry is the same as the anti-Muslim bigotry the cleanup seeks to counteract. You can hold your tongue, I got this.

If the topic were a debate on the merits of spirituality vs. atheism, then a response might be "they are Muslim theists cleaning up, not lazy atheists".

And that statement would be equally disturbing to me and others. It is disrespectful to atheists. Same as disrespecting Muslims for their theist views.

My thing is - there will be more tomorrow and the next day and the next as long as Turtle refuses to let the House appropriations legislation get a vote and then let the chips fall where they may if the bills get signed or vetoed.
