Supposedly he will be offering something to the Democrats if they approve his wall. There is a problem with that though:

1. Even if he offered something that was "acceptable", he cannot be trusted to keep his word
2. They are billing this "media event" as Trump "compromising". That is a lie. The fact that he is NOT sitting down with the Democrats and doing this, he is setting this up as "his media event", and instead of asking the Democrats what it would take, he is TELLING them this is what he will offer.
3. The final problem is there is a high probability that the media will muddle this, and setup a false equivalency, and I hope the Democrats push back hard if that is the case.
