The Senate Intelligence Committee has subpoenaed conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi, his attorney, Larry Klayman, told The Hill on Friday.
The committee asked for both an interview and documents from the Roger Stone associate in a subpoena received Thursday, according to Klayman.
Corsi is a birther-promoting conservative commentator who came under scrutiny in the Russia investigation for comments he made suggesting he had advance knowledge that Wikileaks planned to release hacked Democratic emails in the summer of 2016. Klayman, the founder of Judicial Watch, is best known for filing frivolous lawsuits against political figures and government agencies.
Klayman told The Hill that he plans to fight the overly broad subpoena, calling it the latest example of the continued harassment the committee has directed towards his client.

(9,090 posts)considering sam nunberg said he "listened to 1000s of hours of talk radio" in 2014 (new york magazine 4/3/16 by gabriel sherman) and that stone cohen trump were getting his analysis....
they knew talk radio was a critical part of the equation (the wall) in appealing to the racist base and that's what russian trolls needed - content - talk radio is where they got it
i wouldn't be surprised if more than just nunberg weren't involved in that particular aspect of it - the analysis and creation of their content to tie into years of unchallenged repetition and attacks on clinton and democrats and separation from establishment candidates rubio and bush
trump and or russians were paying these guys for their familiarity with everyday talk radio which at that time was a lot more expensive and slow to get transcribed and analyze than it is today (thanks to artificial intelligence it got easier faster and chjeaper by an order of magnitude than it was then)
with limbaugh being friend of trump....
