Trump hits Ann Coulter over recent criticism: 'Maybe I didn't return her phone call or something'

Source: MSN

President Trump on Sunday took a shot at conservative commentator Ann Coulter, a longtime supporter of his, after she criticized him for agreeing to reopen the government without a deal on his long-promised border wall.

"I hear she's become very hostile," Trump said in a new interview with The Wall Street Journal. "Maybe I didn't return her phone call or something."

His jab comes shortly after Coulter blasted Trump repeatedly for not securing funding for a wall along the southern U.S. border, his signature campaign promise.

Coulter took to Twitter on Friday, the day lawmakers and the White House reached an agreement to end a 35-day-long partial shutdown, to blast Trump as "the biggest wimp ever to serve as President of the United States."

The funny thing is that Limbaugh has been just as harsh, but Trump is apparently fine with that.

It does my heart good to see them going after each other in their race to the bottom.

She responded with “Well that’s just puffery, and that’s why we love him.”

I got some puffery for you Ann Colter. You’re attempting to destroy our nation by breaking our President’s heart. You’d sell us out to the Russians because you wanna sell a few books and get on some talk shows before your neck finally turns full turkey and your 20 pound extension hair flips stop getting attention from lonely unfucked wingers who dream of any blonde with actual teeth.

He's one of the longest serving Big Fat Liars (thanks, Al Franken) in the right-wing nutosphere, so I guess he's achieved god status now.

I suspect he's also Dotard's link to millions of deplorables in the hinterlands that haven't figured out how to use Twitter...

and he would have saved himself and the country a lot of pain and grief.

He can easily beat the crap out of Limbaugh and Coulter -- instead he shut the government down.

Scary to think. Leaves the door open for a much smarter, even more extreme, more fascist, as in Brazil, to win next time. He'd have a ready made cheering section.

Some here are so convinced that Trump is the top of the turd pile. That once we are rid of him, Republicans will slink off in shame, they will just ignore their loud, newly energized, racist fundie base, and make sure next time they nominate another established, "moderate", toe-the-line candidate, such as Romney. I'm sure the MSM is counting on it so they can get back to their comfort zone of "both sides do it".
