RNC assembles team to reelect Trump
Source: Politico
The Republican National Committee has finalized its senior staff for the 2020 election cycle with a focus on disrupting the Democratic presidential primary and continuing to build up the partys field and digital infrastructure, the party told POLITICO.
Our team will be working hand-in-glove with the Trump campaign to ensure President Trump is re-elected and to grow our Party in 2020, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement on Friday. The RNC leadership team is a mix of internal promotions, outside hires and people staying in their roles from the 2018 cycle.
Michael Ahrens, the RNCs rapid response director for the 2018 cycle, who brought a troll the libs approach to his work, will be promoted to communications director as the party tries to roil the Democratic presidential primary. Mike Reed, the party's research director last cycle who was heavily involved in Elizabeth Warren's 2012 race as research director for the GOP's Senate committee, will be the RNC's Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications.
The RNC and America Rising PAC have worked together to place full-time video trackers for Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina to follow the Democrats vying for the White House. The RNCs research team, which will be headed by Joe Ascioti, a former assistant research director, is busy creating video libraries and opposition files on every candidate and blasting out potentially damaging snippets.

If things were weighing heavy on a Democrat in Trump's sistuation, you bet your boots I would be withholding monies. Republican donors are hesitant to let go of the big bucks.

In the years between, the old people have died off and a huge liberal population has moved in. One factor driving the shift has been the White Party, an annual gay festival. Come for the party, stay for the art, food and antiques.
P.S. recently had a lesbian mayor. If he were still alive, Sonny'd be looking for another tree to ski into.
I guess what I'm saying is that the city has outgrown my DU nickname. It ought to be "At One Time, The LastLiberal in PalmSprings."

(4,036 posts)This may very well be the most crucial election in the history of America.
Do you think the Republicans are going to diminish foreign cyber influence? The signs are already there. The Republicans have already reduced cyber election security funding to a great extent, which means, they approve. They want to win at any cost, even to the point of allowing Putin to become Americas next Trump.
This better be our A game. Too crowded a field of candidates could become a distraction, as we battle with ourselves for who will be the next president. Thats fodder for the other side.
Its time to move strongly, willingly and with no regret. Weve learned how the Republicans have built their system so efficiently - local and state judgeships, Supreme Court appointments done as cheesy as they possibly could, restricting voting to the best of their ability, becoming subservient to a tyrant of a president, and on and on.
We need to cull our candidates as soon as possible. We need our very best ground game, and we need the most intellegent people behind the wheel. This is no time to mess up. Plan on the unexpected, move quickly to dissolve the distractions.

(11,521 posts)In a clean, honest, fair election where each side laid out what they support and believe in they'd get slaughtered. SO..... they have to troll the Democratic primary, dig to find any little bit of dirt on our best candidates, and spread lies.
