Accused 'serial rioters' plead guilty over racist mayhem in Charlottesville

Source: Washington Post

By Paul Duggan May 3 at 3:02 PM

Two alleged white supremacists described by authorities as traveling “serial rioters” each pleaded guilty to a federal crime Friday for instigating violence during the notorious 2017 “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville.

Benjamin D. Daley and Michael P. Miselis, alleged members of a white-supremacist group called the Rise Above Movement, or RAM, were among four men indicted by a federal grand jury last year on charges related to the rally on Aug. 12, 2017, which descended into a day-long scene of violent clashes between racist demonstrators and counterprotesters.

Appearing in U.S. District Court in Charlottesville, Daley, 26, of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Miselis, 30, of Lawndale, Calif., each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to riot, punishable by up to five years in prison. The two other alleged RAM members, Cole E. White, 24, of Clayton, Calif., and Thomas W. Gillen, 35, of Redondo Beach, earlier pleaded guilty to the same charge.

The four are scheduled to be sentenced July 19 by Judge Norman K. Moon.

who is funding these traveling troublemakers and criminals?

Are they using contributions hawked on-line from right-wing rubes to intentionally incite rioting and insurrection? And, isn't that somehow illegal?

demonstrations during the 60s. the ultimate irony is that this right wing demonstration violence was indeed instigated by outside agitators. Of course, "outside agitators" was a code word for "communist" back in the 60s. All they had to do was imply anti-war protests were fueled by communist agitators and propagandists to bring the whole movement into question in the minds of voters in the 60s.

The former ones sometimes got beaten, tortured, and murdered. These, beat and murder when they get there.
