Incoming acting Labor Secretary Patrick Pizzella will take the helm of the department following the resignation Friday of Alex Acosta, who faced scrutiny over his role in prosecuting alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein more than a decade ago.

Then he picks the scummiest, dirtiest one from that list. Preferably one who actively opposes the mission of the department they'd be leading.

but scum mulvaney et. al were unhappy with him anyway because he wasn't deregulatin' fast enough for their taste, i.e. wasn't screwing workers completely, ASAP. So, now they have their chance to replace him with a full-on koch tool who will hurt workers including all of the morans who support their idol red don.

He was CIO, and I worked as a contractor in information security, so my team met with him in his office now and then. This was when Elaine Chao was Secretary of Labor.

He lived in a complete right-wing cocoon. In his office he always had the TV switched on to Fox and a big round coffee table which had about one week's worth of the Washington Times fanned out across the top at all times. He talked like an entitled asshole.

As far as anyone could tell, he hardly did a lick of work. I think he left the post after news came out about his links to Jack Abramoff.

In any other situation, this person would be considered radioactive. But in the Trump Gang, he's a perfect fit, unprincipled and dead set on defeating his agency's mission.
