Politics Trump scheduled to headline fundraisers in the Hamptons, where tickets run as high as $250K

Source: Washington Post

President Trump is slated to appear at a pair of fundraising events in the Hamptons on Friday, including one that charges up to $250,000 for lunch, a photo and a private roundtable with the president. The fundraisers are the latest sign that Trump is embracing the world of wealthy contributors who served as punching bags in his 2016 campaign.

Money raised at these fundraisers will go toward Trump Victory, a fundraising committee for both the Trump 2020 campaign and the Republican National Committee. The Friday luncheon in Southampton is scheduled to take place at the home of New York real estate developer Stephen Ross and his wife, jewelry designer Kara Ross. Tickets are priced at $100,000 for a photo opportunity and lunch, and $250,000 for the package that includes the roundtable discussion, the invite shows.

Among the special guests invited to appear at this weekend’s events at the Hamptons, according to the invitations: Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross; Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin; White House senior adviser Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law; the president’s son Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend, Kim Guilfoyle; Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel; Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale; Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.); and Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-N.Y.).

This is disgusting.....on a day when they are still burying the dead from the massacres in El Paso and Dayton, Trump and his spawn are going to the weekend estate of Stephen Ross and Kara Ross to raise millions for their cause.

The hypocrisy here is that Stephen Ross is not only the owner of the Miami Dolphins, Equinox and Soul Cycle, but he is the founder of the non-profit foundation RISE (Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality), yet he is opening his arms and his doors and wallet to raise millions for the Racist in Chief.

They are all racists themselves and hide behind their phony foundations and claim to be for equality when in fact they are supporters of the Racist in Chief.

I hope they are all exposed for who they truly are. They are the modern day Plantation Owners.

On the other hand, maybe we should consider ourselves lucky that he's out of the office.

I calculated 8 years.
$15/Hr. x 2080 (40 hrs. per week x 52 weeks) = $31,200 per year
$250,000 / $31,200 = 8.01 years

IT will probably be funneled into his pockets, and the reason he's doing it. He probably already knows he won't make it till the election before he's exposed fully for everything, and they all turn on him. He has a pattern of doing that kind of stuff.

I wonder how many of these "donors/supporters" of the Racist in Chief are on the blackmail lists?

Wonder what Trump has on Stephen Ross?

because the assholes on the other side bitching about access to the Clinton's if countries donated, no matter that the funds went to actual programs where the money was ear-marked. Wasn't the Foundation rated one of the best, with 90% of the funds being donated? All it did was put good people out of a job.

[sorry, but the other side has officially become known as the moniker "assholes" here on out. Tired of playing their games.]
