Graham promises ObamaCare repeal if Trump, Republicans win in 2020
Source: The Hill
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said this week that Republicans would push to repeal ObamaCare if they win back the House and President Trump is reelected in 2020.
"If we can get the House back and keep our majority in the Senate, and President Trump wins reelection, I can promise you not only are we going to repeal ObamaCare, we're going to do it in a smart way where South Carolina will be the biggest winner," Graham said in an interview with a South Carolina radio station.
"We've got to remind people that we're not for ObamaCare. This scares the hell out of the Democrats. This is what 2020 is about."
Graham's repeal bill, introduced in 2017, would eliminate major sections of ObamaCare, including subsidies that help people buy insurance and the Medicaid expansion that covers low-income adults in 36 states and Washington, D.C.

(23,738 posts)LOL, pretty sure that Democrats will be reminding people of that very thing -- that Republicans aren't in favor of access to health care.

(11,519 posts)Yeah, the though of losing the Affordable Care Act scares the shit out of me. I'm ready to retire and will depend on that for insurance until I can get Medicare. Without the Affordable Care Act I'll be fucked.

Ha ha ha ha ha oh WOW.
Please, Linds, do. Please scare the hell out of us. We know Republicans have a replacement plan that's "shovel ready;" that is, a "let them die in the street" plan that will result in mass graves.

(1,568 posts)Actually, not LOL. I mean, it's amusing how pathetic this is becoming, but it's not funny that these twisted asses want to take away healthcare for many. It's even more unfunny about how many fellow Americans cheer this on, and they don't it because they think they have a better idea for getting people healthcare, but because they literally want to take it away from people they deem as undeserving.
