Two polls suggest Baldwin now leads Thompson in Senate race

Source: Capital Times

With seven weeks left before the November election, two polls released Monday suggest it could be. A word of warning, though: Both polls have ties to the Democratic congresswoman's campaign.

That said, one poll, conducted by the Feldman Group for Baldwin’s campaign and released via Politico, shows Baldwin with a 50 to 45 percent lead over former Republican Gov. Tommy Thompson, a nearly direct reversal from a poll a month ago. The margin of error is 3.5 percent.

A second poll, conducted by Public Policy Polling and paid for by Democracy for America -- an organization that has publicly endorsed her -- found Baldwin with a 48 to 45 percent lead over Thompson. The margin of error is 3 percent.

The poll also found Baldwin with a sizable 51 to 42 percent lead among the state’s female voters. Thompson led with male voters, 49 to 45 percent.

Mittwits tape should go a long way, in letting people know where Gop stand. He doubled down and Gop talking heads are behind him.
He can't write off 47% of the people and not offend voters of all stripes, he is already a divider and will work to balance buget on the 47% backs, he has no fear of losing them. He is not alone he has some supporters down ticket that also need to go, that is our goal come Nov. We have to define them before the money starts to talk.

Maybe Bill Clinton can swing by and REMIND Dems they need Senate to move things and stop others. Can't send Obama back with
hands tied behind his back. He has to do things in next congress, because the last two years he will be a lame duck.
