Republicans unload on Trump for Syria shift when he needs them most

Source: Politico

At a time when Republicans and Democrats are sharply divided over impeachment, President Donald Trump is uniting Congress — in condemnation of his Syria policies.

Prominent lawmakers in both parties admonished the White House on Monday for its controversial decision to allow Turkey to invade northern Syria and potentially wipe out U.S.-allied Kurdish fighters — with Republicans hawks and moderates joining with Democrats to blast the move .
“This is a terribly unwise decision by the president to abandon our Kurdish allies, who have been our major partner in the fight against the lslamic State,” Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) told POLITICO. Frequent Trump critic Sen. Mitt Romney also denounced the move as “a betrayal” that tells our allies abroad that we’re an unreliable partner. And Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) warned that Trump's "bad decision will likely result in the slaughter of allies who fought with us, including women and children."

Russian rustbucket bumbling along Channel 'has tow boat on standby in case it breaks down'
https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/724000/Channel-russian-war-ship-aircraft-carrier-malfunction-dover-technical-smoke-pipes
THE RUSSIAN aircraft carrier floating through the Channel in a show of Putin's naval might is a Soviet antique plagued by technical problems, it has been revealed.

The Admiral Kuznetsov, part of a fleet destined for Syria, was seen belching black smoke off the cost of Dover.

But while it looks daunting, the vast vessel is a relic of the Soviet era – with the port side still bearing it’s communist name – “Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov”.

The ship even has a tow boat running alongside waiting for it to grind to a stuttering halt.

Who knows what he's thinking.

Maybe it's one of these:

He's too busy cozying up to Erdogan and (who knows?..cuz alliances in the ME region are often fickle)
He's thinking about Trump Tower in Turkey.
He think Kurds are low lifes because they don't have country.
He wants to retaliate against Europe cuz they won't take back ISIS fighters

When did he obliterate the economy of Turkey?
Or is he talking about the economy of another country which he claims to have obliterated such as Iran? (Sanctions)

He's crazy..

that he can’t get a grip. He demands loyalty from everyone but provides loyalty to no one. His unpredictable erratic behavior moving to real life war zones is the stuff nightmares are made of. One by one he’s fulfilling all of Putin’s demands, each one coming with some crazy excuse... just watch. His actions will get weirder and weirder as the election nears. He’s fully unhinged now, jaw hanging at a crazy angle drooling slime...

This sudden policy decision makes me wonder. I mean, geez, it can't be a secret on the world stage that all you have to do is blow sweet nothings at Trump and/or say you'll do whatever illegal thing he asks you to do, and he'll do whatever you want.
