Apple, Facebook, Fox News, Republicans, Big Petroleum, Coal, and Twitter don't care about freedoms and democracy. They care about money. MONEY MONEY MONEY. I just wonder if they'll have any remorse when the USA crumbles and the planet becomes impossible to inhabit? Dems, Reps and Indies all are calling out the Chinese on their asshattery. I was just about to make a post questioning why this China issue is getting so little traction here on DU, but up this popped as I logged back in. Activision/Blizzard just made a fuckup of epic proportions, and the gaming community is up in arms across the board. Companies everywhere are chiming in, Republicans and Democrats both are calling China out, yet... up until this post, it's been fairly quiet even though it's the most talked-about topic on Reddit at the moment, outstripping impeachment by a long mile. I've rarely seen America (or indeed the Internet) so massively and overwhelmingly united against something.
