(47,507 posts)It is funny how fast foreign media reported on the story. On Twitter, even a Norwegian newspaper responded to O'Brien's Tweet. I really don't like Twitter, but for stories like this, it can be very helpful.

I hope all the victims recover.

(36,829 posts)Our gun supporters request absolute answers that will prevent these occurrences of mass killings.
They dont ask for gun control solutions/legislation that can decrease these occurrences.
Gotta be a complete solution.
There is no perfect solution but an improvement can be a reasonable goal.
Their solution is more killings as long as more guns can be sold.

(6,890 posts)when I realized the service was a wedding ...
which was, at least there's a chance that there'll be a jealousy motive and the shooting won't be blamed on crazed, violent liberals.

(14,764 posts)it may be related in some way, but the killer of the minister is likely still in custody.
At least I'd be shocked if they let a murder suspect with a long criminal history out on bail.

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) A man charged with shooting a New Hampshire church pastor and bride during a wedding has been accused of assaulting his attorney during a jailhouse meeting.
Thirty-seven-year-old Dale Holloway, of Manchester, was expected to be in court for a bail hearing Tuesday. But it was postponed until he gets a new lawyer.
Capt. Gifford Hisco, chief of security at the Valley Street jail, says Holloway has been accused of assaulting his public defender Monday morning in a room for attorney-client meetings. Hisco says the attorney was taken to a hospital with head and face injuries.
The attorney generals office said Manchester Police are investigating.
Holloway has pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted murder and assault in connection with an Oct. 12 shooting at New England Pentecostal Ministries in Pelham.

(47,507 posts)just sent me an update to the shooting. This guy sounds very unhinged.
This morning at 9:37 AMR ambulance was dispatched to the Valley Street Jail for an unresponsive person
Our sources have confirmed that Dale Holloway the suspect in the Pelham Church shooting was meeting with his lawyer Public Defender Michael Davidow when he assaulted him causing serious injuries.
Holloway was scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Nashua on Tuesday 22nd for an evidentiary hearing.
The assault left Davidow seriously injured.
We anticipate officials will release more information outlining the incident, and advising of any additional charges Holloway faces.
