Connecticut synagogue evacuated after receiving 2 bomb threats

A synagogue in Connecticut was evacuated Friday after it received two bomb threats.
Congregation Bnai Israel, a Reform congregation in Bridgeport, was evacuated on Friday while police investigated the threats, the citys police said on Twitter.
The police department said all had been evacuated safely.
It later said no threats were found at the location and that the caller was being investigated.

(67,782 posts)They had to evacuate their offices about once a month for years because of bomb threats. Police never found any. Bomb threats are a cowardly way of terrorizing people.

(2,412 posts)This is sick. Why are we just reading about it in an Israeli news source? This is also an attempt to add to the chaos that The Far Right is fomenting. Creating fear and chaos benefits them. Fearful people vote conservative. We must chose Love over Fear and spread that idea!
