Ann Romney’s private response to horse attacks

From Jason Horowitz’s profile of Georgette Mosbacher — a prominent Republican donor — and her behind-the-scenes sister:

At the convention, they could be seen bickering outside exclusive donor powwows (“Don’t be upset,” Georgette pleaded with Lyn outside a brunch organized by billionaire Paul Singer. “It was an honest mistake.”) or giddily relaying how Ann Romney, for whom Georgette has served on the host committee for several fundraisers in New York, privately reacted to Democratic attacks on her dressage-competing mare. (“My horse has more style and more class in its hoof than they do in their whole deal,” Lyn recounts.)

So when she's talking in private, Ann Romney brags about her horse showing off "style and class" (especially compared to mere Democrats) rather than talking about riding as therapy for MS.

sexy things said about our candidate, because he REALLY is sexy, but MICHELLE has the intelligence and class not to use that stuff the way Ann did. Or is she just really THAT stupid? Without real dignity and integrity? Or maybe they, Ann and Mitt, are getting really skewed advice?

Every day, Michelle effortlessly shows her the true meaning of class. In comparison, Ann comes off as a rank amateur. Michelle upstages her without even trying. Ann, maybe you should drop the airs and get real. Oh wait a minute, this is you being real. No thanks - I'll stick with our current First Couple.
