Trump Reiterates Threat to Target Iranian Cultural Sites

Source: Washington Post

Trump on Sunday evening doubled down on his claim that he would target Iranian cultural sites if Iran retaliated for the targeted killing of one of its top generals, breaking with his secretary of state over the issue.

Aboard Air Force One on his way back from his holiday trip to Florida, Mr. Trump reiterated to reporters traveling with him the spirit of a Twitter post on Saturday, when he said that the United States government had identified 52 sites for retaliation against Iran if there were a response to Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani’s death.

Some, he tweeted, were of “cultural” significance.

Such a move could be considered a war crime under international laws, but Mr. Trump said Sunday that he was undeterred.

A true tyrant like that would be undeterred by the silly ideas of a war crime, which implies the potential horrors he could inflict on the World or his own people if given the capacity to do so, which he appears to want to take by force if necessary.

We have both a war criminal and a threat to our national security in the White House. Oh my!

Many commentators at the time said that the action was one of the most brutal and senseless acts of the murderous regime had carried out.
So, Trump is proud to be more barbaric and inhumane than the Taliban.

Even more amazing is how the gop is propping this lunatic up. When the whole truth about the gop is revealed, I think the entire world will be shocked. Something went terribly wrong somewhere. tRump is out of his mind, and it is obvious to anyone with more than room temp. I.Q. The man is full of his own importance. The presidency made his ego expand to excessive size. He honestly believes he rules the world, and the gop is not even trying to save this country. WHY?? I know that I would not want to be anywhere near him, he is a moving target.

he sought to offer a justification. “They’re allowed to kill our people,” Trump said, according to a pool report. “They’re allowed to torture and maim our people. They’re allowed to use roadside bombs and blow up our people. And we’re not allowed to touch their cultural site? It doesn’t work that way.”

He used gas on his own people, supplied by - wait for it - George H. W. Bush and cohorts. I think the US should take care of its' own problems, before causing even more problems overseas. Let other countries keep their oil, or sell it to us. All the deaths and maimings have taken a large toll on too many people who were just doing their duty, or even trying to live their lives. Who benefits from all this death and destruction? People such as the Bush family, Cheney, Bolton and other multimillionaires. Their relatives live comfortably, no lost limbs for them, no rehab to learn how to walk again, no brain damage. It is always the little people who suffer. Now we have the world's biggest JOKE in the WH, talking trash, while protected 24 hours a day by secret service agents, paid for by taxpayers. He can talk BIGLY, but if he was confronted by real danger, those Depends would fill up in no time. Twitter should cut him off before he does even more damage.

Apparently, they want to whack it until the whole damn nest erupts and starts a full-blown war.

They're doing everything they can to unify the citizens of Iran and Iraq along with many of the Shia Islamists on Earth (possibly as many as 200 million people) against the Western world.
