Trump criticized for retweeting image of Pelosi, Schumer in Muslim attire

Source: The Hill

The White House on Monday defended President Trump retweeting an image that showed two Democratic leaders edited into Muslim clothing with a backdrop of an Iranian flag after it prompted allegations of Islamophobia.

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, asked why Trump would take the time to retweet the image, said:
“I think the president is making clear that the Democrats are, have been parroting Iranian talking points and almost taking the side of terrorists and those who were out to kill the Americans,"

Grisham said. "I think the president was making the point that the Democrats seem to hate him so much that they’re willing to be on the side of countries and leadership of countries who want to kill Americans," she added.

Activists and former government officials took to Twitter to condemn the tweet as anti-Muslim. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) said in a statement that the tweet was "childish, undignified and offensive."

killing Soleimani was a massively destabilizing move that could potentially plunge us into war. Stephanie and Gump know where they can go with their stupid strawman argument.

If anyone thinks we've heard the last from Iran on this issue, they're dreaming.

So they are saying the whole world must assiduously read the far-right garbage that Trump, Miller and whoever else gets their hands on his Twitter account feel like retweeting (or originating), because it is the United States' primary way of communicating its most grave and important messages. And we have to take them all with equal seriousness.

the owners of Twitter fully endorse Trump thus it might be time to boycott any advertisers that use Twitter.

9. He uses these personal attacks to keep from his discussing policies exposing his lies

And is so weak understanding real policy , he uses this to not have to debate openly , and show how little he understands things. He also projects everything he is doing , or has done onto others, and he promotes putins propaganda , and has now republicans promoting propaganda from a terrorist murdering corrupt dictator, and not the first one to do this. trump also has protected the terrorist the prince and kim and erdogan claiming they're his good friends, and why? I think he's selling them policies and intel, and now our military ,or selling out this country for his own gains politically . Is he getting kickbacks , I think its exactly what he;s doing in one way or another from these corrupt people, and help getting re-elected.

I'm tired of him, I'm tired of the hatred that he embodies, what he has done to this country in so short a time - and the fact that he COULD do this to our country so quickly.

How do we repair the damage? It will take at least an entire DEMOCRATIC presidential term to undo the major damage he has put in place; longer to turn around the long term damage that he has planted like seeds in some evil garden and fed with republican fertilizer. And don't you know that once we start the repairs, the GOP will wail and blame us for not getting it done fast enough.

What has happened to my beloved country? It is beyond depressing.
