National championship 2020 score: LSU unseats Clemson as Joe Burrow completes historic college footb

Source: CBS

NEW ORLEANS -- No. 1 LSU completed one of the most impressive seasons in college football history on Monday night, storming back from a first half deficit to take down No. 3 Clemson in the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship. The 42-25 win for LSU was a fitting finale for Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow, who finished one of the greatest individual seasons of all time by shattering even more records in the game that gave LSU its first national championship since the 2007 season.

I guess congratulations are in order since my Alma Mater (University of Kentucky), is in the SEC, but still no love lost, LOL!

Joe Burrow is on his way to a PAYCHECK, and I root for all student athletes to succeed!

I worked in Baton Rouge in early 1980s, and LSU back then was a kick ass team beating everyone.
A local TV station did a report about the players who graduated from LSU, only to find that quite a few of these ex-star football players could neither read or write. It didn’t seem to be treated like an education system scandal, but instead talked about as just one of those things.

Go Bucks! That being said, since Joe Burreaux used to play for OSU and I really don’t like Clemson, I’m very happy that LSU won. Joe is a good kid and has used his fame to do good for his hometown here in Ohio. I wish him a bright and successful future!!

But its hard to say that OSU should've been there instead of Clemson when all they had to do is beat Clemson -- and they didn't.
