House impeachment leader Schiff accuses Trump of threatening him on Twitter

Source: Reuters

POLITICS
JANUARY 26, 2020 / 9:35 AM / UPDATED 29 MINUTES AGO

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic U.S. House impeachment manager Adam Schiff said on Sunday he believes Republican President Donald Trump’s comment that he has not yet “paid the price” was intended as a threat.

Trump launched another attack on Democrats including Schiff over the Senate impeachment trial earlier on Sunday, saying on Twitter “he has not paid the price, yet, for what he has done to our Country!”

Asked on NBC’s “Meet the Press” if he viewed that as a threat, Schiff said, “I think it was intended to be.”

Trump is threatening to order the Justice Department to investigate him as way to damage Schiff financially like he is doing with McCabe, or he is encouraging his followers to assassinate Schiff.

He can not touch Schiff electorally as Schiff consistently defeats his opponents by 77+%.

So these are the only two ways Trump can harm Schiff.

This is an absolute threat.

Jack Dorsey is making money off Trump. Do you REALLY think he's interested in listening?

Twitter is functionally a state-run media network. Dorsey is being bribed by Trump to break Twitter's TOS with impunity.

Imagine what Trump would to do to Dorsey if Dorsey cancelled Trump's account. Dorsey is Trump's multimillionaire lap boy. Dorsey CANNOT cancel Trump's account. If he did, he'd be targeted by Trump's anarchists and would not be safe to travel anywhere. That's the plan, and Dorsey knows it.

while the Rule of Law, what remains of the executive branch patriots in the Intelligence Community, the resistance, and a majority of Americans continue to resist the crooks' medicine.

I fear this standoff will remain much unchanged until Election Day 2020, or even afterwards if we fail to deliver a convincing defeat to these miscreants.

Complicating matters is the foreign help Trump is receiving. I suspect this is much of what the US was doing in post-War Eastern Europe when we promoted democratic elections in Soviet satellite nations - Poland, Czechoslovakia, and a host of others. Putin knows his history well.

Patriots here at home must apply themselves to every inch of ground they can gain. I think talking with people - even MAGAts who are a bit bewildered at this point - is a productive use of time. Don't hold back.

data about the data flow of platforms especially when their use influences politics and markets.

House committees should issue subpoenas of platform owners and documents; from that they should get court orders to independently audit them at least twice. Once as a baseline, the others for changes. Could all platforms keep two sets of books? Pretty sure they do.

In George Lyttleton's 1772 History of the Life of King Henry the Second, this is rendered as "[he said] that he was very unfortunate to have maintained so many cowardly and ungrateful men in his court, none of whom would revenge him of the injuries he sustained from one turbulent priest." In The Chronicle of the Kings of England (1821) it becomes "Will none of these lazy insignificant persons, whom I maintain, deliver me from this turbulent priest?", which is then shortened to "who shall deliver me from this turbulent priest?"
--------

It sounds like a line from one of Fat Donnie's rallies: "Only I can protect you, although I am prevented by Shifty Schiff. If only some one would stop him. Perhaps a Second Amendment Solution is in order."

Trump accused of inciting violence against Adam Schiff with ‘not paid the price yet’ Twitter threat

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/01/trump-accused-of-inciting-violence-against-adam-schiff-with-not-paid-the-price-yet-twitter-threat/

Published 4 hours ago on January 26, 2020

A Sunday morning tweet by Donald Trump attacking Rep. Adam Schiff has drawn intense scrutiny on Twitter and elsewhere with many suggesting the president is inciting violence or some sort of retribution against the California Democrat whith the phrase Schiff “not paid the price yet.”

According to the president, ““The Impeachment Hoax is a massive election interference the likes of which has never been seen before. In just two hours the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats have seen their phony case absolutely shredded. Shifty is now exposed for illegally making up my phone call, & more!” before adding, “Shifty Adam Schiff is a CORRUPT POLITICIAN, and probably a very sick man. He has not paid the price, yet, for what he has done to our Country!”

Appearing on “Meet the Press” Schiff himself agreed that it sounded like a “threat.”

“I think it’s intended to be,” Schiff stated. “But look, it is going to be very difficult for some of these senators to stand up to this president. It really is. There’s just no question about it.”......................................................
